🗓️ DAY 1: Flight Lima – Tarapoto and Visit to Lamas.

🚌 Pickup and Transfer to the Airport
We will meet at the agreed point to head to the airport, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free journey.

✈️ Flight Lima – Tarapoto
We embark on our flight to Tarapoto, the gateway to the lush Peruvian jungle.

02:30 PM – Visit to the City of Lamas
We head to Lamas, the folkloric capital of San Martín, known as the “city of the three natural floors.”

• Natural Viewpoint: From this strategic point, we will have a spectacular panoramic view of the city and its jungle surroundings.
• Wayku Neighborhood: We will learn about the Quechua-Lamista indigenous community, preserving their culture, language, and ancestral customs.
• Castle of Lamas: An imposing construction with a unique medieval design in the region, where we can also admire local craftsmanship.

06:30 PM – Return to the Hotel
We return to rest and enjoy the comforts of the hotel.

We will travel 40 km along the Marginal Sur Highway, crossing the Huallaga River on a floating raft, a unique experience in the Peruvian jungle.

11:00 AM – Reception at the Sauce Country Estate
Upon arrival, we will be welcomed in a spectacular natural setting, where we can engage in various optional countryside activities (They have an additional cost):

Located in Rioja, this impressive cave awaits us for a unique experience.

• Reception at the control point and delivery of helmet, flashlight, and boots.
• Tour through the different rooms of the cave, where we will admire stalactites and stalagmites with surprising shapes such as:

We head to Ahuashiyacu, one of the most iconic waterfalls in the region, located 14 km from Tarapoto, on the road to Yurimaguas.

• Hiking through the jungle, enjoying the biodiversity of the ecosystem.
• Refreshing bath in the crystal-clear waters of the waterfall.

Lunch at Local Restaurant
We will enjoy lunch before saying goodbye to the Amazon jungle.
